A new edition of the British Open Gold Cup, the most important polo tournament in Europe and one of the most outstanding in the world, kicks off on Tuesday at Cowdray Park. A total of 10 teams will take part; one of them will be Mohammed Al Habtoor’s Habtoor Polo, who make their 2017 UK High Goal debut.
Defending champions King Power Foxes (winners in 2015 & 2016), Queen’s Cup champions RH, and last year’s runner-up La Indiana, will also be competing.
The order of play for the two first days will be as follows:
Tuesday:
2pm: Talandracas vs Murus Sanctus
4pm: La Bamba de Areco vs El Remanso
Wednesday:
12pm: King Power Foxes vs La Indiana
2pm: RH Polo vs Monterosso
