A sunny afternoon accompanied the final matchday of the Tournoi de la Ville de Paris, in Bagatelle. Red Falcon and Sainte Mesme were in charge of fighting for the title, after being the best teams of the qualifying stage. Red Falcon had a good start, solid and kept a 1-goal advantage through the second and third chukkers. But a penalty scored by Robert Strom tied the game in 5 with only 2 minutes to go. But again a new penalty by Robert Strom, this time from the 60 yards, gave Sainte Mesme the title for the fifth year in a row.
Next stop in Paris will be the 123° Open de Paris, the ultimate tournament of the season, which will have 6 participating teams. The final is scheduled for Sunday, June 25th.
