INAUGURAL ALL-STAR CHALLENGE COMES TO WELLINGTON, FLORIDA

The Intercollegiate/Interscholastic (I/I) and National Youth Tournament Series (NYTS) programs have collaborated to organize the first-of-its-kind All-Star Challenge. A vision of USPA Director of Player Development, Amanda Snow, the event will showcase the talent of eight young players who are at least 18 years of age and have received an All-Star award at both a NYTS tournament and either an I/I Regional or National Championship. The event will be a two-day tournament, along with training conducted by local professionals in the Wellington, Florida, area December 15-16.

Players will participate in both arena and grass games in addition to a rules review by USPA Umpires, LLC., a polo fitness workout with Alejandro Moraes and an Equine Welfare lecture given by Dr. Stephanie Massey Colburn, former I/I national champion and an alumna of Team USPA. Team USPA alumni and former I/I national champions, Steve Krueger and Patrick Uretz will serve as coaches throughout the weekend. A post-event recap will be published next week.
