The British Open Gold Cup, one of the most prestigious polo titles in the world, resumed at Cowdray Park Polo Club with a single match on Tuesday July 2, between La Bamba de Areco and Emlor. The tournament sees 10 teams up to 22-goals compete.
Jean-François Decaux’s foursome, that features two members of La Dolfina within the lineup, Pelón Stirling and Juan Martín Nero, had no trouble at all to beat Spencer McCarthy’s team by a 9-6 score.
THE FINAL OF THE GOLD CUP IS DUE ON SUNDAY JULY 21.
