Sunday marked the end of the 2019 Open de France, main tournament of Polo Club Domaine de Chantilly and last leg of the French Triple Crown, that gather teams up to 16-goals. The Club also held the final of the 8th Open de France Feminin and of the 8-goals Trophee Castel.
At midday the girls opened fire with the final of the Open de France Feminin between DS Automobiles SM and Hyatt Regency Chantilly, with live streaming by PoloLine.Tv. IT was a thrilling match which was decided in the last minutes by the top player Lia Salvo, who scored a last goal to secure the win for DS Automobiles SM.
After a lunch break and the threat of rain, the spanish Alejandro Aznar’s team, Marques de Riscal -first time playing the tournament-, jumped into the field to face the habituee team Marquard Media.
Despite it was a tight game, Marques de Riscal dominated almost the entire match and claimed the win of its first ever Open de France trophy.
