Opening Day at the San Diego Polo Club has evolved into one of San Diego’s signature events, where people flock to the fields for thrilling polo, champagne, divot stomping and an incredible fashion scene. On Sunday, May 31, 2015, the San Diego Polo Club celebrated the kick-off of their 29th season in Rancho Santa Fe and 109th anniversary of polo in San Diego with a crowd exceeding 4,000, all to benefit local charity, Wounded Warrior Homes.
The season at Greenwich Polo Club, New York, kicked off on Sunday June 7, with an exhibition in aid of Hole in the Wall Gang (Paul Newman's Charity) and the presentation of the Monty Waterbury Cup.

Newport captured the final tournament of the spring polo season Sunday at Grand Champions Polo Club. In a defensive battle, Newport held off Polo Gear in the final minutes to win the Santa Rita Memorial Cup, 9-8, in front of a good crowd and worldwide ChukkerTV audience.

The San Diego Polo Club kicks off its 29th season in Rancho Santa Fe on Sunday, May 31st with Opening Day. Gates open at 12:30 p.m. for two action-packed matches at 1:30pm and 3:00pm, where local and international polo players will compete in front of an estimated 3,500 spectators.
For the past two decades, high-goal polo matches at Two Trees Farm in Bridgehampton have been one of the main attractions for party-goers and the sport’s enthusiasts alike. But the Bridgehampton Polo Club, which hosted the fast-paced 20-goal matches that featured some of the world’s best players over an eight-week stretch, announced that its run of highly attended public matches at Two Trees has come to an end.
