Tito’s Handmade Vodka, based in Austin, Tex., will serve as the signature vodka sponsor for the Nov. 28th USPA International Cup at Grand Champions Polo Club.
An International Cup signature drink featuring Tito’s Handmade Vodka and juice will be served in the VIP tent throughout the day of polo and festivities.
“We are so excited to partner with Tito’s Handmade Vodka,” said Grand Champions Polo Club president Melissa Ganzi.
“Our guests will get a chance to see why it’s the perfect vodka to serve at polo. Great polo, great fans and great vodka is a winning combination.”
Tito’s Handmade Vodka, founded and owned by Tito Beveridge, is produced in Austin at Texas’ oldest legal distillery. The company uses old-fashioned pot stills and taste-tests every batch to make sure customers get only the best. It is distilled from corn and is certified gluten-free.
America’s original craft vodka is designed to be savored by both spirit connoisseurs and every day drinkers alike. The process, similar to those used to make fine single malt scotches and high-end French cognacs, requires more skill and effort than others.
Tito’s Handmade Vodka is sold throughout South Florida including Wellington, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens and Palm Beach.
While fans enjoy their signature drink and top-notch food from Ken-Rose Catering, the United States team will put its unbeaten streak on the line against South Africa in the 24-goal championship for the coveted Cup.
The U.S. team is led by Nic Roldan and Julio Arellano, the nation’s top-rated players at eight goals, 7-goaler Jeff Hall and top amateur Marc Ganzi.
The South Africa roster is Selby Williamson, 5, Chris MacKenzie, 6, Gareth Evans, 6, and team captain Tom de Bruin, 7.
It is the fourth time Grand Champions Polo Club is hosting a major international men’s game in its nine-year history. Since 2012, the U.S. has beaten England, Chile and Mexico in USPA International Cup play.
The USPA International Cup game is part of a polo doubleheader. The opening game is the Carlos Gracida Legends of Polo Memorial, continuing the Hall of Famer’s legacy by honoring one of the sport’s greats, who died tragically in February, 2014 at age 53.
The Legends game is 1 p.m. followed by the USPA International Cup at 3 p.m. Gates open at 12:30 p.m.
ChukkerTV, leaders in polo broadcasting, will livestream the polo doubleheader worldwide with entertaining polo broadcasters Toby Wayman and Dale Schwetz.
