A great event with many attendants took place on Sunday for the final of the 122°Open de Paris Maserati at Bagatelle. The journey started with an exclusive lunch at the club’s stylish and unique restaurant, which has a great view to the polo field. The attendants enjoyed a Tuscan influenced menu.
After a parade by the Garde Républicaine de France, both teams jumped onto the field looking for the title. It was an even game at the beginning with few differences and not a single one in the scoreboard. 0-0 after the first chukker.
But the two following chukkers decided the match. Costa Rica, one of the greatest teams of the Parisian season, found themselves leading 5-1 at half-time thanks to Iván Maldonado (3), Antonio Gómez y Juan Zubiaurre’s goals. Facundo Fernández Llorente scored the only one for La Concepción.
From then on was really tough for La Concepcion, although they kept on going with a great level by Fernández Llorente, who scored again for the team. But Iván Maldonado scored again to extend the lead to 4. At the end of the game two more goals by MVP Facundo Fernández Llorente were not enough to change the game. A great 6-4 victory to Costa Rica.
Score Costa Rica: 0-0, 2-0, 5-1, 6-3, 6-4.

MVP Amateur: Antonio Gómez.
