On Wednesday, June 8, at a cocktail party at Guards Polo Club, Rafael Torres from Casa de Campo and Alfredo Vargas from Lechuza Caracas RD, announced the launch of the Summer Season and the 2017 edition of the Polo Challenge in the Dominican Republic.
After a successful 2016 season, the Polo Challenge takes yet another step forward and tours Europe in order to invite patrons, players and spectators to the beautiful island. Guards Polo Club was the first destination, where prominent figures from the world of polo assisted and got to know the protagonists of the Dominican season. Several star polo players, participants of the last season, such as Ignacio “Cubi” Toccalino, David “Pelon” Stirling, Juan Martin Nero, and brothers Miguel and Alejandro Novillo Astrada, assisted the event.
Casa de Campo and Lechuza Caracas RD, the clubs that host the Polo Challenge, are ready to play and the horses have had time to rest, so everything is set for the summer tournaments.
In addition to the best polo, Casa de Campo has a wide range of activities available for the whole family; the Dominican Republic is certainly the perfect destination for polo lovers of all ages.
