After much deliberations by the Trustee and the United States Polo Association, the deal to buy the International Polo Club for $ 44 million did not go through. A lot of rumours have been circulating about the impending sale and it seemed that the USPA had finally convinced the Board of Trustees of IPC to make the sale available to them. Last minute negotiations fell short of convincing both parties to go through with the sale. The entire staff and management are still in the dark as to the future of the Club.
