The Campeonato de España Absoluto ended up on May 29 with Valdeparras as the champion team. The Tournament which comprised 5 teams up to 8 goals, was the first one in the return of polo in the Spanish Capital.
Valdeparras Team beat Cibao La Pampa 5 over 4, therefore the final positions were the following:

On Wednesday June 1st, will be the turn of the second Tournament in Madrid: the Abierto RC Puerta de Hierro will feature seven teams up to 8 goals and will be held at RC Puerta de Hierro and at Club de Campo Villa de Madrid. The contest will see national players such as Pelayo Berazadi, Pedro Soria, Hugo Iturraspe and Patricio Cieza. The final will take place on Sunday June 12.
The Club de Campo Villa de Madrid is a modern equestrian establishment in the city. The Club offers training courses, fields for the different disciplines and more than 300 stables among other facilities.
