The teams have been announced
Today, the HPA has announced the names of the Swarovski England Ladies team for The Thai Polo Club Ladies International for the Diamond Jubilee Trophy at Guards Polo Club. To highlight the increasing importance of women’s polo worldwide, the match will take place after The Royal Salute Coronation Cup on Saturday 29 July. The match will see Swarovski England Ladies play the USA Ladies team, which follows on as the second instalment of the two part series which began with the Kings Head Hotel International at Cirencester Park Polo Club in June.
Swarovski’s support for sport and wellbeing dates back to its foundation in 1895, by founder Daniel Swarovski. He was renowned for encouraging his employees to lead an active life in the Austrian Alps. Today, Swarovski continue to promote this healthy lifestyle alongside their work empowering women on and off the sports field. With Swarovski’s appointment as the official sponsor of the England Ladies Polo Team, they are aiming to emphasise the increase in quantity of talented and competitive ladies in polo.
Before the Thai Polo Club Ladies International for the Diamond Jubilee Trophy, spectators will be treated to The Royal Salute Coronation Cup, where the national men’s teams from England and The Commonwealth will battle for the iconic Coronation Cup.
