This weekend’s fixtures
The season is well and truly under way which means there’s a plethora of polo to keep you entertained this weekend.
Guards Polo Club will be playing host to the oldest intercollegiate polo match in the country, Oxford vs Cambridge, on Saturday 3 June, as well as an old blues match as they battle it out on the La Martina Varsity Day. Oxford University Polo Club’s official supplier British Polo Gin will be on site serving their delicious new cocktail, the Varsity Blue, in honour of the OUPC team.
Also in Berkshire, The Cartier Queen’s Cup is now at a fever pitch, as the teams come to the end of a thrilling week. It’s two wins a piece for King Power, El Remanso, La Indiana and RH Polo with all to play for before the first day of the Semi-Final Knockouts on Saturday 10 June. The next matches are on Saturday 3 June, when Sommelier will take on Talandracas at midday and El Remanso will take on La Indiana at 3pm.
