A closely fought contest between two of the most talented teams, Sona Polo and Rajnigandha Achievers saw the latter edge the win by a goal’s advantage.

The game was officiated by match Umpires Mr. Nicolas Scortichini and Mr Shamsheer Ali, with the referee being Mr Bashir Ali.
Abhimanyu Pathak scored the first goal for Sona Polo, but Rajnigandha struck one back, when Padmanabh Singh knocked one in.
The first chukker saw no more goals and the score was 1-1 at the end of it.


Rajnigandha Achievers scored once more to make the score 2-1 in their favour, Matthew Perry being the scorer. However, Sona Polo responded well with Abhimanyu Pathak scoring once more to make it 2-2.
The score at the end of the second chukker was 2-2.


Padmanabh Singh got his second in the third chukker, and completed his hattrick soon after making the score 4-2 in the favour of Rajnigandha Achievers. Abhimanyu Pathak scored his third for the day reducing the deficit to 4-3, before Rajnigandha scored another to make it 5-3 in their favor, and
managed to hold on to the lead and ended the chukker leading 5-3.


The 4th chukker saw the match getting super exciting, when Sona pulled two back to make the score 5-5, but a penalty in the dying seconds saw Matthew Perry score one, bringing an end to a thrilling match.
