POLO SUPERSTAR, JUAN MARTIN NERO PLAY IN THE SNOW POLO WORLD CUP IN 2019 AFTER HAVING TAKEN HOME THE TROPHY IN 2004.
Seven-time tournament winner and Polo Superstar, Juan Martin Nero returns to St. Moritz for the 35th edition of Snow Polo World Cup that will be held from 25 – 27 January 2019. The Argentine 10-goaler will play in the Snow Polo World Cup in 2019 after having taken home the trophy in 2004. Juan Martin Nero has left an incredible mark in the sport of Polo in the past decade and is currently ranked among the three best players in the world. Expectations from the team from Azerbaijan, who settled for the second position at the European Polo, will be high. Chris Hyde, top snow player will make his way to the St. Moritz this year too. 21 year old, Grant Ganzi, rated as one of the best youth players in the USA, is making his debut in the 35th edition of Snow Polo.
The first ever Polo competition on snow was played in 1985 at St. Moritz. Since then, the Snow Polo World Cup is played every year at St. Moritz.
