THE FINALS OF MAHARAJA HARI SINGH MEMORIAL CUP 2018 SAW SAHARA WARRIORS AND JINDAL PANTHER AGAINST EACH OTHER.
The day had a lovely weather, light breeze and a blazing sunlight. The game started off in full swing at 3:30pm at Jaipur Polo Ground, New Delhi. The day saw Sahara Warriors and Jindal Panther against each other. The game saw Mr. Vandit Golechha(0), Mr. Pranav Kapur(+2), Mr. Salim Azmi(+3), and Mr. Matthew Philip Perry(+6) playing for Sahara Warriors, while Mr. Bhawani Singh Kalvi(+2), Mr. Tom Brodie(+4), Mr. Simran S Shergill(+6), and Mr. Naveen Jindal(0).
As the chukker opened, within no minutes Matthew Philip Perry scored the first goal of the match in favor of Sahara Warriors, making the score 1.5-0. The second goal was striked in full swing by Simran S Shergill. By the end of the chukker, the score was 1.5-1.
The second chukker started off in full swing to change the phase of the match, where Bhawani Singh Kalvi took a penalty shot 30; this was followed by another goal by Simran S Shergill. The other team although after attempts could not bring any changes on the scoreboard. The scoreboard by the end of the chukker read 1.5-3.
As soon as the third chukker began Simran S Shergill made a splendid start with a goal, which was soon followed by a goal in favor of Sahara Warriors made by Matthew Philip Perry. The game came into action after Simran S Shergill striked another goal. Scores at the end of the third chukker were 2.5-5.
The final chukker of the match witnessed a splendid strike by Vandit Golechha in favor of Shara Warriors bringing them back into the game, but it was short lived for Bhawani Singh Kalvi took a penalty shot 30. The score now was 3.5-6. In last few minutes, Sahara Warrior again made a come back making the score 4.5-6. This was soon followed by another goal by Salim Azmi, the scoreboard now read 5.5-6. And the match wrapped in favor of Jindal Panther who lifted the trophy in grace.
