Barriere wins Coupe d’Argent in Deauville; Coupe d’Or and Coupe de Bronze are underway

The Coupe d’Argent, the competition played prior to the Coupe d’Or, came to an end on Tuesday at Deauville International Polo Club. The tournament saw four 16 goal teams in participation. 

FINAL COUPE D’ARGENT: BARRIERE 10-5 TALANDRACAS

Barrière: Ignacio Kennedy 4 (3 goals), Jota Chavanne 5 (2), Martincito Aguerre 7 (5), Thomas Rinderknecht 0. Total: 16.

Talandracas: Hughes Carmignac 1 (1 goal), Francisco Elizalde 8 (1), Alejandro Muzzio 7 (3), Edouard Carmignac 0. Total: 16.

Score Barriere: 3-0, 5-1, 5-3, 8-4, 10-5.

Umpires: Rafael Silva and Gastón Lucero.

COUPE D’OR

Tuesday also saw the start of the Coupe d’Or, the most important competition in Deauville. A total of 5 teams up to 16 goals are taking part. The final is scheduled for Sunday, August 25th.

COUPE DE BRONZE

The Coupe de Bronze is also underway at Deauville International Polo Club after it kicked off on Wednesday with 6 teams up to 8 goals. The final is due on Friday August 23rd.
