The semifinals of the 18-goal Cote d’Azur Cup took place on Thursday at Saint Tropez Polo Club. First, Las Plantas beat Los Nocheros, before Chateau d’Aulne defeated Coniano.

In the 10 goal category, the tournament finalist will be known on Friday after the four scheduled matches are played.

Fourteen teams, split into two categories, are competing in the tournament.

SEMIFINALS COTE D’AZUR CUP – 18-GOAL

LAS PLANTAS 11-7 LOS NOCHEROS

LAS PLANTAS: Peter Kis 0, Matias Nigoul 4, Tete Fanelli 4 (Juan Jauretche 5), Nicolás Pieres 9. Total: 17 (18).

LOS NOCHEROS: Sebastian Schneberger 1, Gastón Máiquez 6, Valentín Novillo Astrada 5, Lucas Labat 6. Total: 18.

Score Las Plantas: 3.5-1, 4-2, 7-3, 10-3, 11-7*.

*Las Plantas started the match with an advantage of half a goal due to handicap, but Juan Jauretche (5) replaced Silvestre Fanelli (4) in the second chukker, so the half goal advantage was removed. 

CHATEAU D’AULNE 8.5-6 CONIANO

CHATEAU D’AULNE: Mathias Guillemin 0, Marcos Harriott 3, Agustín García Grossi 7, Nito Uranga 6. Total: 16.

CONIANO: Mostafa Kabbany 0, Martin Joaquin 5, Eduardo Menéndez 6, Sebastián Harriott 6. Total: 17.
