US Open: Draw set for the quarterfinals

The qualification stage of the US Open Polo Championship came to an end on Wednesday at the International Polo Club Palm Beach, in Wellington, United States. Defending champion Daily Racing Form and Las Monjitas won their games and secured the last two spots for the quarterfinals.

 

With sixteen 22-goal team fighting for the title, this tournament is widely considered to be the most competitive of the year. The US Open will resume on Friday.

 

DAILY RACING FORM 10-9 OLD HICKORY BOURBON

Daily Racing Form: Gero Obregon 4 (2 goals), Santiago Cernadas 6 (1), Agustin Obregon 6 (1), Jared Zenni 6 (5). Total: 22.

Park Place: Andrey Borodin 0, Lucas Diaz Alberdi 5 (3 goals), Juan Britos 8 (2), Nico Pieres 9 (4). Total: 22.

Score Las Monjitas: 4-1, 5-2, 7-5, 9-6, 10-7, 12-9.

Sunday:

10am: Pilot vs. Daily Racing Form
