Gauntlet of Polo USPA Gold Cup

Last night, the Gauntlet of Polo players and team owners gathered for the official draw of The USPA Gold Cup at the International Polo Club, Palm Beach, Florida. The official draw determined the playing order for the second tournament in the exciting 2020 Gauntlet of Polo. The Gauntlet itself gives the teams the opportunity to win a potential $1,000,000 prize money purse, on winning all three tournaments. 

To date, The C.V. Whitney Cup, the first leg of the Gauntlet, has showcased some fierce competition, with La Indiana and Las Monjitas set to compete in the Final on Sunday 23 February at 3pm (local time), with $125,000 prize money up for grabs.The USPA Gold Cup will be split into four brackets, with brackets one and two playing within their division and brackets three and four playing cross-bracket. Following the qualification rounds, the Semi Finals will take place, with the Final, and the chance to win $125,000, following at 3pm (local time) on Sunday 22 Match on the U.S. Polo Assn. field at International Polo Club. 

The brackets are set out as follows:

Bracket One: Santa Clara, Postage Stamp Farm, Daily Racing Form & La Indiana

Bracket Two: Old Hickory Bourbon, Park Place, Tonkawa & Pilot

Bracket Three: Las Monjitas, Equuleus & Cessna

Bracket Four: Coca-Cola, Patagones & Dutta Corp
