Monterosso Vikings claim title

The Guards Ladies Charity Tournament has been popular since its conception in 2017, forming part of the Hurlingham Polo Association’s Victrix Ludorum league it is hotly contested each year. Additionally, the tournament is an official fundraiser for Smart Works Reading, a local charity which focuses on helping out of work women on low income to get into work with one-to-one coaching sessions. This year, as the tournament (along with all other polo) is being played behind closed doors, Smart Works Reading created an online auction with a selection of lots including a luxury South African safari camp and a four-night stay for two people in Marrakech, as well as a raffle. The auction and raffle closed at midnight on Monday and is expected to raise more than £5,000 for the charity.
