Be the first person to stick & ball on Club’s new ground
Guards Polo Club are auctioning off a once in a lifetime opportunity – to be the first person to stick and ball on the Club’s newly created high goal Princes’ Ground. Bidding will open at £500, with funds being raised to support nurses at the Club’s local hospital, Wrexham Park in Slough, as well as supporting their local domestic abuse charity, The Dash Charity. The auction is open to all members and thanks to the Guards Polo Academy, non-polo players are also invited to take part as all essential kit, including a pony if required, can be provided.
To place bids, email James Neighbour here with your name, address, contact telephone number, membership number if known, your bid and whether you agree to gift aid this sum. The Club will update bidding daily on their website and bidders can raise their sum at any time. The winning bid will have their experience immortalised by Guards TV and Club photographer, Images of Polo and feature in their 2021 Guards Yearbook. Bidding opened on Friday 1 May and will close at 12 noon on Friday 22 May. The stick and ball session must take place before 31 May 2020.
