The 2021 winter season is right around the corner! Club practices at Port Mayaca Polo Club (PMPC) in Okeechobee, Florida, will begin in early December and are open to Club Members.
PMPC will open their tournament season with the 6-goal Stephen Orthwein Memorial Family Cup from beginning January 12 through 24, 2021. Between January and April PMPC will be hosting 8-goal, 14-goal and 18-goal leagues.
Port Mayaca Polo Club is also thrilled to be a part of the U.S. Open Women’s Polo Championship™ for the third year, hosting all preliminary games (March 10-200 at PMPC. Similarly, the Tabebuia Cup, beginning March 2, will be played at two levels for the first time, 12- to 14-goal and 18- to 22-goal, allowing U.S. Open Women’s Polo Championship™ competitors the opportunity for a warm up.
PMPC is proud to unveil some highly-anticipated developments debuting this winter. Beginning in December the Polo School at Port Mayaca will be open for business with instructors and horses on site. Also with the arrival of several new lot owners joining the club, Port Mayaca will undergo barn construction and new farm development over the next few months. The Club Cantina will also be open this winter.
