Following such a challenging 2020, that even endangered the polo season in England, the Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA), the governing body of polo in the United Kingdom, unveiled the tentative dates for the 2021 season.
The tentative calendar includes the traditional and competitive 22-goal, 18-goal and 15-goal tournaments as well as a new edition of the successful Victrix Ludorum Tour, the series of ladies polo played in different clubs all over England, and tournaments for all levels.
Among the most importants events due next season in England, that will run through May and September are The Prince of Wales Trophy, at Royal Berkshire Polo Club; The Queen’s Cup, at Guards Polo Club; Gold Cup for the British Open, at Cowdray Park Polo Club; Warwickshire Cup, at Cirencester Park Polo Club; Indian Empire Shield, at Coworth Park & Guards Polo Club; Oxford Cup, at Black Bears Polo Club; Duke of Sutherland Cup, at Cowdray Park Polo Club; Royal Windsor Cup, at Guards Polo Club; the Victrix Ludorum Ladies series, due to kickoff at Black Bears Polo Club.

Warwickshire Cup (Cirencester Park Polo Club, 22-goal: June 15-19.
Royal Windsor Cup (Guards Polo Club, 15-goal): June 1-20.
Gold Cup for the British Open (Cowdray Park Polo Club, 22-goal): June 22-July 18.
Indian Empire Shield (Coworth Park, Guards Polo Club, 18-goal): June 29-July 17.
Cowdray Challenge (Cowdray Park Polo Club, 18-goal): July 19- August 1.
