Austria & Italy will go for the FIP European Championship Title

Austria & Italy qualified this Saturday for the final of the FIP XIII European Championship after winning in semifinals against Spain & Netherlands respectively. Both matches took place at Ayala Polo Club, in Sotogrande. The FIP European Championship is one of the most competitive events on the international calendar. The tournament also sees several promising young players compete.

The final is due on Sunday September 19.

Semifinals:

SEMIFINAL #1: AUSTRIA 6-5 SPAIN

AUSTRIA: Jakob Von Plessen 0 (2 goles), Walter Scherb 1, Martin Bleier 3 (1), Diego Braun 4 (3). Total:8.

SPAIN: Roberto Iturrioz 0, Pedro Becca 2 (1 gol), Nicolás Ruiz Guiñazu 4 (4), Álvaro Álvarez 2. Total:8.

Score Austria: 2-1, 4-2, 5-4, 6-5.

SEMIFINAL #2: ITALY 5-3 NETHERLANDS

NETHERLANDS: Boudewijn Brouns 1, Kevin Korst 2 (1 gol), Robert Watson 4 (1), Milan Ventaka Raman 1 (1). Total:8.

ITALIA: Stefano Giansanti 0 (1 gol), Therance Cusmano 1, Miguel Lagos Marmol 3 (2), Gregorio Gelosi 4 (2). Total:8.

Score Italia: 0-1, 2-2, 4-2, 5-3.

4pm, Final 3rd position: Spain vs Netherlands
