Gold Cup for the British Open: Road to the finals begin

The road to the final of the Gold Cup for the British Open will begin on Wednesday July 21, with the semifinal matches. Four teams will battle to earn a spot in the championship match for the coveted golden trophy. The championship, hosted by Cowdray Park Polo Club, in Midhurst, West Sussex,  is recognised as one of the three Grand Slams of Polo, alongside the Argentine Open and the US Open. This year’s tournament sees thirteen teams, up to 22 goals, compete.

The day will kick off with Great Oaks Les Lions vs. UAE, at 12pm followed later in the afternoon by the contest between Thai Polo and Scone, at 4pm. Both games will be played on Lawns Grounds 1.

The Gold Cup final is scheduled for Sunday, July 25.
