Great start of the 22 Berenberg German Polo Masters Sylt

The 22 Berenberg German Polo Masters Sylt began on Wednesday July 28. After being cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19, the traditional tournament is back at the club set in Keitum-Siidik, this year sponsored by Berenberg, the oldest german private bank and second oldest worldwide,

The competition sees six teams between 6-8 goal in participation, and the lineups include many international players such as Argentina’s Valentin Novillo Astrada, Tuki Ruiz Guiñazú and the Laplacettes, as well as Germany’s Basti Schneberger and Brazilian João Novaes, among others.

The tournament kicked off on Wednesday July 28 and will come to an end on Saturday August 1.

The results of the opening day are as follows

Berenberg 4-6 Porsche Zentren Hamburg
König Immobilien & knack den krebs 7-6 Hotel Stadt Hamburg

Following a delay due to heavy storms on Thursday, action will resume on Friday.

Friday 30

– 1 pm: 5º y 6º position.
