Maitha bint Mohammed leads the UAE team at the opening of the “Ifza” Polo Championship today

The Al Habtoor Polo Club and Resort stadiums kick off today, the Silver Ifza Championship, one of the 2021 Dubai Gold Cup Series, with the participation of six teams, and is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.

Her Highness Sheikha Maitha bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, led the Emirates team, at the opening of the tournament today, in front of the Panjash team at 4 in the afternoon, while the second match between Al Habtoor and Iveza will meet.

The UAE team includes the players: Lucas Monteverde, Thomas Panilo and Guillermo, while the Panjash team is led by: Haider Benjash, Frederico, Benjamin and Kroto.

Today’s match is the cornerstone of the two teams, so whoever wins will cut the halfway to the next round, while the loser will enter into relatively complicated calculations.

It is expected that the start will be cautious between the two teams, as is the usual opening matches.

In the second match, Al Habtoor’s team will represent Mohammed Al Habtoor, Felix Asen, John Baric and Vacundo Sola, while the IFZA team includes: Rashid Al Habtoor, Tariq Al Habtoor, Segundo Amadori, Jacinto Amordi and Isidro.
