Opening wins for Chapaleufu, La Fija & Alegria Fish Creek
The Qualifying Tournament features seven teams between 28 to 30 goals, split into two leagues, compete for the remaining two places in The Argentine Open. The opening day of the competition was played on Friday 22 October at the Argentine Association of Polo, in Pilar and Tortugas Country Club and saw Chapaleufu defeat Los Machitos, 11-9; La Fija secure a narrow 12-11 win against La Esquina and Alegria Fish Creek taking home a 12-6 win against La Aguada.
