Royal Windsor Cup kicks off; quarter finals time for Archie David Cup

A new edition of the Royal Windsor Cup, the medium goal tournament hosted by Guards Polo Club, will commence on Tuesday June 22.

The tournament, which Subsidiary Trophy is called Mountbatten as a tribute to Lord Louis Mountbatten, a remarkable naval officer and polo player who reached a handicap of 5, will see 21 teams up to 15 goals, compete.

The finals of the Royal Windsor Cup are due on Sunday July 11.

Meanwhile, the Archie David Cup, the low goal tournament hosted by Guards Polo Club (8 goals), will have the quarter finals played on Tuesday June 22, as follows:

3pm: Emsworth vs. Quixote

4pm: K2/Amos vs. Yabba Yabba Doo

4,15pm: Tchogan/Libertine vs. The Wall Design

5,30pm: AFB/Great Oaks Les Lions vs. CANI

The finals of the Archie David Cup are set to be played on Saturday June 26.
