SEEN: Family House Polo Match

It was a polo perfect afternoon Saturday for more than 2,000 supporters of Family House who lined the field at Hartwood Acres, popped their trunks and bottles of bubbly and set up picnic spreads for friends and family.  

Family House Executive Director Jennifer March (with Charlie) welcomed everyone to the 38th Family House Polo Match and was named this year’s Person of Inspiration. Also recognized were John Innocenti (Muldoon Cup) and April Curley (Chairman’s Cup).

After a minute of silence and singing of the national anthem to mark the 20th anniversary of 9/11, all eyes were on the polo match between Howard Hanna Real Estate Services Foxlease Polo Club and #1 Cochran’s Potomac Polo Club. Hanna won 11-7. The afternoon also included a display of vintage cars, live music from No Bad Juju and Brownie Mary, a silent auction, wine and beer tasting, food trucks and pony rides and games for children. 

Strolling, sipping and socializing were event chair Jessica O’Brien with her husband, Tim, Ron Donatelli with his wife, Mary Lynn, Annie Hanna Cestra and her daughter, Helen Cestra, Rob Cochran, Gisele Fetterman with her 10 year-old daughter, Grace, Francois Bitz, Judy and Marty Smith, Liana Gee with baby Leo and her husand, Pav, Martina Hahn with her husband, Steve Mader, Christina O’Toole with her twin sister, Carrie Triko, Betsy and Tom Teti, Patrick and Eileen French Jordan with their daughter, Pepper, and David Bush and Tim McVay,
