Pilot Win U.S. Open!

Facundo Pieres sweeps up in post-match presentations
Yesterday, Sunday 24 April, Pilot faced La Elina in The U.S. Open Polo Championship Final at International Polo Club Palm Beach. Pilot were favoured going into the Final with an undefeated run and also The USPA Gold Cup title under their belt.

On the day, despite a strong effort from La Elina, Pilot were dominant and secured the title with an 11-6 win and with it the $100,000 prize-money. At the post-match presentations, Facundo Pieres swept the board, winning all seven of the prizes on offer:

 Best Argentine Horse of the Final:  Open Maks, played by Facundo Pieres

USPA BPP of the US Open Final Willis Hartman:  Mega Espia, played by Facundo Pieres

USPA BPP of the US Open Polo Championship Tournament: Open Candy Kiss, played by Facundo Pieres

USPA BPP of the Gauntlet: Corcha, played by Facundo Pieres

IPC Horse of the Year: Open Maks, played by Facundo Pieres
