Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz Begins This Friday!

Six teams compete over three thrilling days of polo

The 37th Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz begins this week! Many of the ponies are already on site acclimatising to the temperatures and the altitude with the players, press and entourages joining them over the next few days before the action kicks off later this week. Thursday 27 January will see the teams participate in training matches, with the tournament beginning on Friday 28 January with Azerbaijan Land of Fire vs Perrier-Jouët, Clinique La Prairie vs World Polo League and Badrutt’s Palace Hotel vs Casablanca on day one of the competition. After day one there will be a team ranking from one to six: the three winners and the team ranked fourth will proceed directly to the Semi Finals. The first ranked team will play the best losing team, the second ranked team will play the third on day two.

The second day of action will finish with The Snow Polo Night Gala Dinner “Baku Moritz Night” which has now sold out!
