Twelve Oaks Take Prince of Wales

Stellar high goal debut for Wooldridge
The sun shone down on The Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club on Saturday 14 May for The Justerini & Brooks Prince of Wales Trophy Final between Twelve Oaks and Great Oaks Les Lions. The first two chukkas saw Great Oaks Les Lions dominate, taking an early lead which they maintained until the fourth chukka when Twelve Oaks began to assert their dominance and by the sixth chukka the scores were tied, 9-9, pushing the match into an extra chukka. Three and a half minutes into over-time, a 60 yard penalty was awarded to Twelve Oaks which Joaquín Pittaluga converted to take the title for Twelve Oaks and with it their first high goal title – an impressive accomplishment considering this is Twelve Oaks’ debut British high goal season.
