In 2022, the Intercollegiate/Interscholastic (I/I) program celebrated 100 years since the first intercollegiate championship in 1922, when Princeton University captured the inaugural victory. Since its inception, the I/I program has helped countless equestrians excel in both their polo pursuits and academic endeavors. The program offers numerous benefits to students including a development series, training clinics and polo scholarships.

The I/I Program is played in the arena under USPA Official Arena Rules with such modifications as outlined in the USPA I/I Tournament Conditions and using a split-string format. The USPA runs over 30 I/I tournaments each season across the country and include preliminary, regional and national levels.

For more information on the Intercollegiate/Interscholastic program visit the 2023-2024 I/I Information Packet.
