LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
The 22nd annual Virgil Christian Tribute Polo Match is happening at Oxmoor Farm this weekend.
The event is Saturday, July 8, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
In addition to the match, attendees can enjoy tailgating, live music and fireworks.
Proceeds from the match will benefit Maryhurst, Kentucky’s oldest child welfare agency.
General Admission is $20 in advance or $25 the day of the event. Kids 12 and under will be admitted free of charge. Field-side tailgate spots are also available for reservation for $125, which includes six General Admission tickets.

Attendees are permitted to bring their own food and drinks and are welcome to tailgate at the event. In case of inclement weather, the match will be rescheduled for Sunday, July 9.
For more than 20 years, Jim Boland and his family have hosted the Virgil Christian Tribute Polo Match at Oxmoor Farm. This is the eighth year that proceeds from the event will benefit Maryhurst.
Maryhurst offers healing through a specialized continuum of care that aims to prevent abuse, restore hope, and empower survivors of trauma. Programs include individual and family counseling, psychiatric and campus-based residential treatment for girls, and community-based transitional living services and aftercare.
