The second Ladies Polo Cup at Casa de Campo will be held on March 16th

This event highlights the talent and passion of women in the sport of polo, as well as having a charitable purpose

The excitement and elegance of women’s polo return to the Dominican Republic with the celebration of the Second International Ladies Polo Cup, scheduled for March 16, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., at the prestigious Casa de Campo Polo Club. This world-renowned sports event will feature the participation of talented players from Argentina, Italy, Paraguay, the United States, and Venezuela.

Remembering the success of the previous year, where the T Pack Ladies Polo Team crowned champion by defeating American Express in an exciting 4-3 match, this year promises to exceed all expectations. In addition to the on-field action, the International Ladies Polo Cup of the Dominican Republic also has a charitable purpose. In support of the Eastern Beneficial Trust known as “Wonderful Mothers,” the event seeks to make a real difference in the lives of 167 mothers and more than 500 sons and daughters in conditions of extreme vulnerability due to the pandemic.

The tournament is conceived by polo enthusiast and entrepreneur, Argentine Carolina Rainer de Matos, in collaboration with Casa de Campo Polo director, Fernando Arata, and Patricia Panzarasa, director of the Women’s Polo Circuit in Argentina.

Carolina Rainer de Matos, the mastermind behind this second edition, anticipates an even bigger and more exciting event than last year, with surprises prepared for attendees, including an elegant sunset cocktail. She also highlights the growing support of national and international sponsors, as well as the unwavering backing of Casa de Campo and the local community.
