The UK summer polo season is well underway
Teams in the Cartier Queens Cup are now a third of the way through and The Bentley Royal Windsor Cup at Guards Polo Club also began today.
This weekend "Julius Baer Beach Polo World Cup Sylt" showed polo at its finest and delighted up to 10,000 spectators on site - including many fans of the Polo Team Maserati with Marc Aberle and Tim Ward.
King Power Foxes and Zacara both holding strong
The 22 goal Cartier Queen’s Cup is well underway with just under a third of the games now played. There are only six more games left in the initial league stages before the second round of games begin on 2 June. Zacara and King Power Foxes are both leading the way having won both of their games to date.

But the Bridgehampton Polo Club, which hosted the fast-paced 20-goal matches that featured some of the world’s best players over an eight-week stretch, announced that its run of highly attended public matches at Two Trees has come to an end.

The season at Black Diamond Polo Club (BDPC) is underway. The field and clubhouse opened last Saturday, May 16th. We gathered in the clubhouse, caught up with one another and discussed the season before us. There has been a lot happening at BDPC and there is more yet to come. The Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA) is delighted to announce Royal Salute as the title partner for the prestigious Coronation Cup over a longstanding period. This new agreement sees the time-honoured and delicately crafted whisky expand its presence in the game.

Yesterday the AAP announced the team line-ups that will be taking part in this year’s Triple Crown, the Tortugas, Hurlingham and Palermo Opens. Defending champions La Dolfina return with the same 40 goal combination of Adolfo Cambiaso, David Stirling Jr, Pablo MacDonough and Juan Martin Nero whilst fellow Finalists Ellerstina return with an adjusted format. Martin Aguerre no longer features on the team sheet, with Polito Pieres joining his three cousins to make the side a complete Pieres unit with Chapaleufu all taking to the field with a similar family format which features Alberto Heguy, Ignacio Heguy, Bautista Heguy and Eduardo
