Cultura Mezcal Polo Cup

On the past weekend, the second edition of the Cultura Mezcal Polo Cup and Mexican Art Festival once again gathered polo players from Mexico, the USA, Argentina, Great Britain, Switzerland and Spain at the Ibiza Polo Club. The event combined various art disciplines with the fast-paced sport of polo.

Facu and Gonzo – from St. Tropez to Palermo

Following their highly successful 2015 high-goal season in England, playing together with King Power Foxes and winning both the Queen’s Cup at Guards Polo Club and the Gold Cup at Cowdray Park Polo Club, brothers and Piaget Ambassadors, Gonzalito and Facundo Pieres, enjoyed a few weeks of downtime before heading to the St. Tropez Polo Club to play in the 18-goal Cote d’Azur tournament.


The Jockey Club Open, the tournament that preceeds the Triple Crown in Argentina, will kick off on Monday September 14.

Argentine Triple Crown teams announced

On Thursday 30 July, The Argentine Polo Association (AAP) released the zone classifications and the team line-ups for the Argentine Triple Crown for the Tortugas, Hurlingham and Palermo Opens to be played this year.


Is this Argentine season going to be a quadruple crown? It is likely, considering that big teams who play the Triple Crown, such as Ellerstina, Alegria, La Aguada Las Monjitas, and most likely La Dolfina, have confirmed that they will be playing the Jockey Club Open as a warm up to Tortugas.
